Import Declaration Form (IDF)

Kenya Revenue Authority Custom Service Department provides the import declaration form for importers of cargos to declare their consignment.
The form gives provision for the applicant to put the importer and seller’s names and address, and other information like the PIN number, name of contact person, email, and telephone number.
The form further gives provision for Country of supply, port of discharge, port of Custom clearance, mode of transport, original certificate references, transaction terms, invoice number and date, FOB value, currency, freight, and insurance.
They should also state the whether the cargo is new or used, full description and standards, origin, and quantity.

Passenger Decleration Form (Form 28)

Kenya Revenue Authority provides the passenger declaration form to passengers travelling to Kenya from outside the country.
The form, completed by passengers prior to their travel to Kenya, is presented to the Kenya Revenue Authority official at the point of entry. This includes passengers coming from the East Africa Community States.
The applicants provide their names, date of birth, sex, nationality, passport number, flight, vehicle, vessel number, where they are from, date of entry and address in Kenya.
In the next part the passenger tick, where applicable, in appropriate box, whatever they are bringing into the country, and describe in full details articles or goods in their possession.
